Throughout my childhood, I held no interest in science. However, that all changed when I attended the first 'Rochdale Science Extravaganza' and had the privilege of meeting Labib, the mastermind behind the event, and his supportive father, Mohammed. Their unwavering passion and commitment to promoting science education within the local community left me completely captivated.

After the event, I delved into extensive research and closely observed the remarkable work being carried out by the team of dedicated volunteers. Their relentless efforts to bridge the educational gap and instil a love for science in people of all ages and backgrounds deeply impressed me. The impact they were making was truly awe-inspiring.

Joining the Rochdale Science Initiative C.I.C (RSI) presents an extraordinary opportunity for me to contribute meaningfully to the advancement of science education within the local community. I am thrilled to be part of an organisation that not only shares my vision and values but also possesses the potential to inspire the next generation of scientists, innovators, and critical thinkers.

I consider it a great honour to have been granted the chance to join RSI, and I eagerly anticipate working with unwavering passion towards its mission of bringing the wonders of science to those who need it most.
