“ One of the best things about the Rochdale Science Initiative is that I had the freedom to discover and do experiments. This hands-on approach helped me understand science better. I also had an amazing chance to meet and learn from some incredible scientists who inspired me to explore the world of science.

My name is Sahail Ali, and I joined the Rochdale Science Initiative in early 2019 when I was 13 years old. Being a part of this programme has been a great learning experience for me. Right from the beginning, I started gaining confidence and developed a strong interest in science. One of the best things about the Rochdale Science Initiative is that I had the freedom to discover and do experiments. This hands-on approach helped me understand science better. I also had an amazing chance to meet and learn from some incredible scientists who inspired me to explore the world of science.

My favourite experience was the Science Extravaganza. This event not only allowed us to showcase what we learned but it also gave us a platform to express ourselves in the community. I got to participate in plays and give speeches in front of the community. These experiences boosted my confidence and made me believe in my abilities.

The Rochdale Science Initiative not only taught me about science but also gave me important life skills. The confidence and knowledge I gained during my time here will shape my future. I am grateful for this opportunity and would highly recommend the Rochdale Science Initiative to anyone who loves science and wants to explore its endless possibilities.
